About WTW

WTW traces its history to 1828 and was created in its current form through the 2016 merger of Willis Group and Towers Watson. Its principal executive offices are in London, and it rebranded from Willis Towers Watson to WTW in 2022.

The firm advises and brokers across three broad areas: people, risk and capital. Its work includes commercial insurance and reinsurance broking, risk management, employee benefits, retirement and pensions, executive compensation, actuarial consulting, insurance software and data analytics.

WTW is particularly strong where insurance, quantitative analysis and human-capital decisions overlap. For a business student, relevant entry points include Risk & Broking, actuarial and insurance technology roles, retirement consulting, employee experience, rewards and executive compensation.
