Vixio Regulatory Intelligence

Founded in 2006 as a specialist gambling-compliance research business, Vixio expanded into payments regulation in 2015. Its parent company adopted the Vixio name in 2020, and the business was acquired by European private-equity firm Perwyn in December 2022.

Vixio provides regulatory intelligence, market data, monitoring and compliance change-management tools for payments, banking, financial services and gambling companies. Its platform combines analyst research with technology covering regulatory developments across more than 200 jurisdictions and over 1,400 regulatory sources.

The firm is particularly strong in specialist, fast-changing regulatory environments where companies need to track licensing rules, consultations, enforcement actions and market-entry requirements. Its products are used by more than 500 organisations, including operators, suppliers, financial institutions and other regulated businesses.
