About UniCredit
UniCredit Group was formed in October 1998 through the combination of Credito Italiano and Unicredito. It is headquartered in Milan and has developed into a pan-European banking group built around local banks in Italy, Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
The bank provides banking and financial solutions to individuals, SMEs, corporates and institutions. Its platform includes retail banking, corporate finance, advisory, risk management, trade finance, payments, insurance and investment products, delivered through local distribution and centralised product teams.
UniCredit is particularly strong where clients need European scale combined with local-market access: corporate lending, transaction banking, payments and cross-border coverage across Central and Eastern Europe. Its recent strategy has focused on simplifying the operating model, increasing digital and data capabilities, and improving efficiency and capital generation.
