Founded in Lausanne in 1959 and listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange since 1973, Compagnie Financière Tradition is the listed parent of the Tradition interdealer-broking business. It operates across more than 30 countries and employs over 2,300 people globally.

Tradition intermediates trades between banks and other professional market participants rather than managing money or lending directly. Its coverage includes money markets, interest-rate and currency derivatives, bonds, repo, credit derivatives, equities, equity derivatives, energy, environmental products and precious metals.

The firm is especially strong in OTC and derivative markets, where broker relationships, product knowledge and access to liquidity matter most. It also provides OTC market data through Tradition Data, combining high-touch brokerage with electronic platforms and data services.
