Highlights
About T.Capital
The current T.Capital platform was formed in 2023, building on Deutsche Telekom’s earlier venture-investing activities and mandates managed through DTCP and hub:raum. It operates as Deutsche Telekom’s strategic investment arm rather than as a standalone generalist VC manager.
T.Capital runs two strategies. Ventures typically backs Series A–C companies as a strategic follower, while the Tech Fund targets growth-equity and buyout opportunities through significant minority or control positions. Its stated areas include AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, connectivity, consumer technology, defense tech and IoT.
Its distinctive strength is the potential to connect portfolio companies with Deutsche Telekom’s infrastructure, engineering expertise, customer base and commercial channels. Examples on its portfolio site include Perplexity, ElevenLabs, n8n, Quantum Systems and Nscale, with support ranging from pilot projects and integrations to joint go-to-market activity.
