About St. Modwen

Established in 1966, St. Modwen became a Birmingham-based UK property developer focused on brownfield regeneration, residential development and industrial property. Blackstone acquired the listed company in 2021, taking it private after a transaction valued at about £1.24 billion.

The business has since been substantially reorganised. St. Modwen Logistics was combined with Industrials REIT in 2024 to form Indurent, a UK industrial and logistics platform. St. Modwen Homes was acquired by Miller Homes on 31 January 2025 and continues to operate under the St. Modwen Homes brand.

For students, the relevant opportunities are therefore primarily within Miller Homes’ housebuilding operation or Indurent’s industrial and logistics real-estate business, rather than a single integrated St. Modwen group.
