SitusAMC was formed in June 2019 through the merger of Situs, founded in 1985, and American Mortgage Consultants. The combined firm brought commercial and residential real estate finance capabilities under one platform.

The company provides technology, strategic outsourcing, advisory, valuation, underwriting, loan servicing, asset management and transaction-support services to lenders, investors, servicers, banks, insurers and other real estate finance participants.

Its strongest areas are commercial real estate servicing and asset management, special servicing and distressed-loan resolution, residential mortgage diligence and valuation, and technology-enabled data and workflow management. For candidates, it is closer to a specialist real estate finance platform and outsourced-services provider than to a traditional investment bank or asset manager.
