Siemens Energy became an independent company through Siemens AG’s spin-off and public listing in September 2020. Its registered seat is in Munich, while its engineering heritage traces back to Siemens’ 1866 origins.

The company operates across power generation, grid technology, industrial decarbonization and wind power. It supplies equipment, project solutions and long-term services to utilities, independent power producers, industrial customers and other energy-sector participants.

Siemens Energy is particularly strong in gas and steam turbines, grid infrastructure and lifecycle services for its installed equipment. Its scale gives it a significant role in upgrading power systems, integrating renewables and improving the reliability and flexibility of electricity networks.
