Quilter plc

Quilter plc became a standalone business in 2018 when Old Mutual Wealth separated from Old Mutual, rebranded as Quilter and listed on the London and Johannesburg stock exchanges. Its roots include Quilter Cheviot and the Skandia and Old Mutual Wealth businesses.

The group operates across two segments: Affluent and High Net Worth. It provides financial planning, an investment platform, multi-asset investment solutions, discretionary portfolio management and related adviser support. Its Affluent proposition is primarily platform-based, while Quilter Cheviot serves high-net-worth clients with bespoke portfolios and advice.

Quilter is especially strong in the UK advised-wealth market. Its platform had £104.6 billion of assets under administration at 31 December 2025, making it the UK’s largest retail advised platform, while its WealthSelect managed-portfolio service had £25.4 billion of assets and was the UK’s largest managed portfolio service. The business reported more than 500,000 clients as at 30 June 2026.
