Founded in 2008, Q5 was created to specialise in organisational performance, positioning organisation design and organisation development as complementary disciplines. It has grown from five founders in London into an international consultancy serving clients across the UK, North America, Australia and the Middle East.

Q5 advises on strategy execution, operating model and organisation design, workforce planning, transformation delivery, change adoption, culture, talent and leadership. Its work is especially focused on turning strategy into practical changes in structures, accountabilities, governance, capabilities and ways of working.

For students, Q5 is most distinctive as a specialist consulting firm rather than a generalist strategy house: its strongest themes are organisational redesign, transformation implementation and the people-side of performance. The firm also uses organisational analytics tools, including OrgMaps, to support evidence-based design decisions.
