About PKF Francis Clark
PKF Francis Clark traces its origins to November 1919, when Francis S Clark founded an accountancy practice in Newton Abbot, Devon. It merged with Princecroft Willis in 2016 and joined the PKF International network, becoming PKF Francis Clark.
The firm provides accounts and business advice, audit and assurance, tax, corporate finance, restructuring, financial planning, payroll, forensic accounting and related advisory services to businesses, individuals and organisations. It operates across nine offices in southern and South West England and describes itself as the region’s largest independent chartered accountancy firm.
Its clearest specialist strength is corporate finance: the firm says its team advises on more than 100 completed deals annually and was ranked the South West’s most active financial adviser in Experian’s 2025 UK & Ireland M&A Review. It also has a substantial tax practice, with more than 140 tax professionals covering business, personal, indirect and transaction tax.
