Founded in 2011, Pemberton Asset Management is a London-based private credit manager backed by Legal & General. The firm began with European direct lending and has expanded into a broader private credit platform.

Pemberton provides financing at portfolio-company, fund and GP level. Its strategies include senior and mid-market direct lending, strategic credit, working capital finance, CLOs, NAV financing and GP solutions, serving institutional investors such as insurers, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds.

Its clearest strength is European mid-market credit: local origination teams, independent credit analysis and a multi-strategy platform allow it to structure loans for acquisitions, growth, refinancing and sponsor-level needs.
