About Peel Hunt
Peel Hunt was established in 1989 by Charles Peel and Christopher Holdsworth Hunt. The business was bought by KBC, then separated through a management and staff buyout in 2010; Peel Hunt plc joined the London Stock Exchange's AIM market in September 2021.
The firm combines investment banking, research and distribution, and execution services. Its investment banking work includes equity capital markets, debt advisory, public and private M&A, investor relations, private equity and corporate broking. Its research team covers more than 355 UK companies across 16 sectors, while its trading operation provides liquidity and execution in UK equities.
Peel Hunt is especially strong in UK small- and mid-cap equities, where its research and distribution network support corporate clients seeking investor access and capital. In FY25, research and distribution served 1,307 institutional clients, while execution services accounted for 17.8% of London Stock Exchange trading volume.
