Founded by Wolfgang Egger in Augsburg in 1984, PATRIZIA began as a residential real estate investor and expanded into third-party investment management for institutional clients in 1993. It later broadened its platform through acquisitions and infrastructure expansion, including the purchase of Whitehelm Capital in 2021.

PATRIZIA manages real assets for institutional, semi-professional and private investors, offering real estate and infrastructure equity, infrastructure debt, private debt and multi-manager products. Its investment activity spans sectors including residential, office, logistics, retail, healthcare, hotels and infrastructure.

The firm is particularly strong in European real estate and living-sector investing, while its infrastructure platform provides global exposure to areas such as energy transition and digital infrastructure.
