Pathway Capital Management, LP

Founded in 1991 and based in Irvine, California, Pathway Capital Management invests on behalf of institutional and wealth-management clients. Its client base includes pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, foundations, endowments, and other institutional investors, with offices listed in California, Rhode Island, London, Munich, and Hong Kong.

Pathway invests across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure. Its strategies include primary fund commitments, secondary investments, co-investments, direct credit, and customized accounts rather than only traditional multi-manager fund-of-funds products.

The firm is especially strong in manager selection, access to private-market general partners, and portfolio construction across private-market strategies. Pathway reported more than $90 billion in assets under management and more than 115 customized programs representing over $125 billion in commitments. Clearlake Capital completed its acquisition of Pathway on June 9, 2026.
