Oxford Properties Group

Founded in 1960, Oxford Properties Group is the real estate investment arm of OMERS, the Ontario municipal employees’ pension plan. Its global headquarters are in Toronto, and it invests and operates across four continents through direct ownership, development, asset management, joint ventures and platform investments.

Oxford and its portfolio companies manage approximately C$80 billion of assets. Its activities span office, logistics and industrial, retail, residential, life sciences, hotels, credit and real estate operating businesses, with a thematic investment approach covering properties, portfolios, development sites, debt, securities and platforms.

The firm is particularly strong in large-scale logistics and urban real estate. Oxford says more than one-third of its capital is invested in logistics, warehousing and digital-commerce strategies, while its retail platform represents approximately $8.8 billion of assets under management and attracts more than 100 million visitors annually.
