Octopus Energy

Octopus Energy was founded in 2015 and launched as a UK energy supplier in 2016. It has since expanded from retail electricity and gas into a broader clean-energy group spanning renewable generation, energy technology, electric vehicles, heat pumps and solar.

Its core differentiator is Kraken, an advanced data and machine-learning platform used to run energy businesses and licensed to external utilities.
