Founded in 1989 by Robert Andreen and Morgan Olsson, Nordic Capital is a private equity investor with 11 offices and 285 employees. It has invested €30.6bn in more than 159 companies since inception and currently reports €38bn in assets under management.

The firm invests in selected subsectors across Healthcare, Technology & Payments, Financial Services, and Services & Industrial Tech, primarily in Northern Europe and North America. Its strategies include large-cap private equity and the Evolution mid-market strategy.

Nordic Capital’s investment model combines sector specialisation, active ownership, operational support and add-on acquisitions. Technology & Payments is a particularly established capability: the firm says it has invested in the sector for more than 20 years and completed 28 platform investments. Healthcare is another major focus, spanning pharma, healthtech, medtech and healthcare services.
