Metrea

Metrea was founded in 2016 and was formerly known as Meta Aerospace; it adopted the Metrea name in October 2022. The company is headquartered in Washington, D.C., with facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Metrea develops and operates mission capabilities for government and national-security customers across air, electromagnetic and cyber, and digital and synthetic domains. Its portfolio includes airborne ISR, aerial refuelling, special-mission aviation, secure communications, electronic warfare, cyber operations, aircraft engineering and advanced simulation.

Its distinctive strength is a vertically integrated, "effects-as-a-service" model: Metrea designs, engineers, operates and continuously improves mission systems rather than only selling standalone equipment. The firm is especially substantial in airborne ISR, aerial refuelling and signals-intelligence/electronic-warfare training and operations.
