LGT Capital Partners dates back to 1998, when the Princely Family of Liechtenstein established the firm to manage a long-term, endowment-style investment portfolio. It remains privately owned by the Princely Family and invests its own capital alongside clients through the LGT Endowment and the firm's investment strategies.

The firm manages alternative investment solutions for institutional clients, covering private markets, multi-alternatives, diversifying strategies, and dedicated sustainable and impact strategies. Its multi-alternatives platform combines private equity, infrastructure, private debt, real estate, insurance-linked strategies and hedge funds.

LGT Capital Partners is especially strong in portfolio construction across alternative asset classes, manager selection, scenario planning and long-term risk management. ESG factors have been integrated into most funds since 2003, with dedicated ESG investment solutions offered since 2009.
