Janus Henderson Investors

Janus Henderson combines two investment businesses with long histories: Henderson was founded in London in 1934, while Janus was established in Denver in 1969. They merged in 2017 to form Janus Henderson. In June 2026, the group completed a take-private transaction and became privately owned.

The firm manages active investment strategies across equities, fixed income, alternatives and multi-asset portfolios for clients worldwide. Its equity platform uses fundamental, bottom-up research across regional and specialist mandates, while its fixed-income business combines fundamental analysis, quantitative tools and specialist credit and securitised-debt expertise.
