iSAM's UK operating company, iSAM Funds (UK) Limited, was incorporated in London on February 12, 2009. The group now operates through two related businesses: iSAM Funds, an alternative asset manager focused on systematic investing, and iSAM Securities, an algorithmic trading and electronic-market-making business.

Its investment strategies include iSAM Vector, which seeks diversifying returns from price persistence across markets, and iSAM Helix, a fully systematic statistical-arbitrage strategy trading global equities. The wider group also provides liquidity, execution, prime-services and risk-management technology to institutional clients and trading venues.
