IMC Trading

IMC Trading began in 1989 with two traders on Amsterdam’s Equity Options Exchange. It expanded internationally through Chicago in 2000 and Sydney in 2002, and now operates across global trading hubs.

The firm combines proprietary trading, market making, quantitative research, machine learning, and in-house software and hardware engineering. It provides continuous liquidity across asset classes and trades on more than 120 venues worldwide.

IMC is especially strong in technology-driven trading and listed options: the firm describes itself as a top-three liquidity provider by global listed-options volume. Its operating model brings traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers together, with graduate hires entering structured training through its Graduate Traineeship.
