About Gunvor Group

Founded in 2000, Gunvor began as an oil-export business and developed into a privately held global commodities trading group. It is headquartered in Geneva, with principal trading hubs in Geneva, Singapore and Houston, plus offices including London, Stamford, Dubai and Shanghai.

Gunvor trades crude oil, refined products, natural gas, LNG, biofuels, power, carbon emissions, base metals and bulk materials. Its model combines physical trading with shipping, storage, pipelines, terminals, refineries, power plants and other midstream and downstream assets.

The firm is particularly strong in large-scale physical energy markets and supply-chain execution: its traders coordinate flows, financing, logistics and risk management across more than 100 countries. Energy-transition activity is concentrated in products and assets such as biofuels, power, carbon markets and battery-storage optimization rather than being a pure-play renewables business.
