Founded in New Jersey in 1999, GEP is a privately held procurement and supply-chain transformation firm headquartered in Clark, New Jersey. It combines consulting, managed services and enterprise software rather than operating as a pure strategy consultancy or software vendor.

Its software portfolio covers source-to-pay procurement and broader supply-chain operations. GEP SMART and its newer GEP Quantum Intelligence platform support spend analysis, sourcing, contract management, supplier management, procure-to-pay, savings tracking and third-party risk workflows.

GEP is especially strong in procurement transformation for large multinational organisations: it links category strategy and operating-model change with implementation and ongoing managed services. Its enterprise software was named a Leader in Gartner’s 2025 Magic Quadrant for Source-to-Pay Suites, while the company says it serves more than 1,000 Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises across more than 30 industries.
