Founded in 2018 by Mike Novogratz, Galaxy has developed from a crypto-focused financial platform into a broader company operating across digital assets and AI infrastructure. Its digital-assets business is designed to connect traditional financial institutions with onchain markets.

Galaxy's digital-assets platform spans institutional trading, lending, investment banking, asset management, staking, tokenization, self-custody technology, and the GalaxyOne investor platform. Its asset-management business offers ETFs, hedge funds, venture capital, and active and passive strategies across digital assets and related technologies.
