Flow Traders

Founded in Amsterdam in 2004, Flow Traders is a proprietary trading firm and global liquidity provider. It trades its own capital rather than managing client assets, quoting bid and ask prices across exchanges and directly with institutional counterparties.

The firm built its franchise in exchange-traded products (ETPs) and now also trades related futures, equities, digital assets, currencies and bonds. Its strongest areas are technology-driven ETP market making and digital-asset liquidity, where it combines quantitative pricing, automated trading systems and real-time risk controls.

For students, Flow Traders is closer to a quantitative trading firm than a traditional investment bank or asset manager. Its graduate pathways include trading, quantitative research, software development and trading-operations engineering, with internships available in Amsterdam and New York.
