Five Arrows

Founded in 2009, Five Arrows is the alternative-assets arm of Rothschild & Co. It manages funds spanning corporate private equity, secondaries and co-investments, multi-manager strategies, direct lending and credit management across Europe and North America.

Its corporate private-equity business invests across the lower mid-market, mid-market and upper mid-market. The firm focuses particularly on data and software, healthcare, technology-enabled business services and other asset-light or service-oriented companies, backing both domestic franchises and businesses with internationalisation potential.

Five Arrows is especially substantial in middle-market investing: its corporate private-equity team manages more than €13 billion of capital and includes more than 100 investment professionals. The platform also has a significant private-credit capability, including a €2.4 billion fourth direct-lending fund closed in September 2025.
