About Fidelity International
Fidelity International was established in 1969 as the international arm of US-based Fidelity Investments and became independent from it in 1980. It is now a separately operated business, mainly owned by management and members of the founding Johnson family. Its global headquarters are in Bermuda, while London is a major operating centre.
The firm provides investment management and retirement solutions to institutions, intermediaries and individual investors across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and other international markets. Its capabilities span equities, fixed income, multi-asset, real assets and sustainable investing, alongside workplace retirement services.
Fidelity’s clearest investment differentiator is its active, bottom-up research model: analysts conduct company-level research, meet management teams and other stakeholders, and work with portfolio managers to identify mispriced or underappreciated opportunities. The firm also integrates sustainability analysis and shareholder engagement into its investment process.
