EY-Parthenon traces its roots to The Parthenon Group, a strategy consultancy that joined EY in 2014. In March 2025, EY expanded the brand to cover the full EY Strategy and Transactions service line, rather than only the legacy Parthenon strategy practice.
The business advises CEOs, boards, private equity investors and governments on corporate strategy, growth, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate finance, restructuring and transformation. Its work combines strategic analysis with transaction execution and implementation capabilities from across EY.
EY-Parthenon is particularly strong where strategy and deals overlap: private-equity diligence and value creation, portfolio strategy, M&A, turnaround work and large-scale transformation. EY also highlights proprietary AI-enabled Edge platforms and an investor mindset as differentiators.
