Eurazeo

Eurazeo was created in 2001 through the merger of Gaz et Eaux, founded in 1881, and Eurafrance, founded in 1969. It has since developed from a single-business investment company into a diversified private-markets platform.

The firm invests across three asset classes: private equity, private debt and real assets, covering buyouts, growth, venture, healthcare, direct lending, infrastructure and real estate. Its focus is primarily European companies ranging from start-ups and SMEs to mid-cap businesses, with support for international expansion, acquisitions and operational transformation.

Eurazeo is particularly substantial in European mid-market private debt and venture investing. Its private-debt business has invested more than €10 billion through funds supporting 410 European companies, while its venture platform reports €2.6 billion in assets under management and more than 190 companies funded as of June 30, 2026.
