Equiteq

Founded in 2005 by Paul Collins, Equiteq was created after his experience selling a consulting business highlighted the limited M&A support available to knowledge-based companies. It has since developed into a specialist investment bank serving the technology services and specialty consulting sectors.

Equiteq advises founders, shareholders, strategic acquirers and financial sponsors on sell-side M&A, acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising and strategic deal origination. Its work is concentrated in mid-market transactions where sector knowledge, buyer access and understanding of recurring services businesses are important.

The firm is particularly strong in technology-enabled services and consulting ecosystems, including IT services, cloud, enterprise applications, data, AI and specialist consulting. Equiteq reports more than 200 completed transactions worldwide, with a global platform spanning six offices and a team of 87 employees.
