About Eka Ventures

Eka Ventures was founded in 2018 by Jon Coker and Camilla Dolan, with investing beginning in April 2020. The London-based firm invests at the pre-seed and seed stages and is currently investing from its second fund.

Eka focuses on three consumer-led themes: life essentials, health and sustainability. Its investments include companies working on preventative healthcare, financial inclusion, home-energy flexibility, low-emission delivery, sustainable products and access to essential services.

The firm is especially differentiated by a focused impact thesis combined with data-led sourcing. Eka says its internal platform filters around 10,000 companies down to roughly 1,000 meetings each year, while its second fund targets up to 30 UK pre-seed and seed companies with an average initial investment of about $2 million.
