About EFG International
EFG International traces its roots to the Latsis family’s 1980 acquisition of Geneva-based Banque de Dépôts. It established a Zurich presence in 1995, introduced the EFG brand in 1997, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange in 2005, and expanded through organic growth and acquisitions, including BSI in 2016.
The group provides private banking and asset-management services to private clients, families, family offices, institutions and independent asset managers. Its offering covers advisory and discretionary investment management, wealth and succession planning, credit and financing, structured products, trading, alternatives and private markets, supported by global investment-solutions and markets teams.
EFG is especially strong in relationship-led wealth management: its Client Relationship Officers are given a central role in serving clients with customised advice, while the wider platform provides access to global products, financing and specialist investment capabilities. The firm operates across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Americas and the Middle East, combining local advisory teams with a Swiss private-bank platform.
