Copper.co launched in London in 2018 and builds infrastructure for institutional participants in digital-asset markets. Its clients include banks, asset managers, trading firms, exchanges and exchange-traded product providers.

The firm combines MPC-based custody with trading, settlement, collateral-management and prime-services workflows. Its main differentiator is ClearLoop, which connects custodians, prime brokers and trading venues so institutions can trade while keeping collateral within custody rather than pre-funding exchanges.

Copper is especially strong in custody security and post-trade infrastructure: its platform supports more than 500 digital assets across more than 40 blockchains, and ClearLoop recorded approximately $121 billion in flows in a single month during 2024.
