Climate Investment was founded by members of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative and has operated since 2017. It invests in technologies underpinning the next generation of global infrastructure, with a focus on high-emission sectors that are relatively underinvested.

The firm provides venture and growth-equity capital across energy systems, industry, buildings and transport. Its model combines investment with commercialization support, helping portfolio companies secure pilots, commercial contracts and broader market adoption.

Climate Investment is especially strong in industrial decarbonization and in translating climate technologies into measurable emissions reductions and operating value. Its work spans both early-stage innovation and the later-stage funding gap between venture capital and large-scale infrastructure or private equity.
