Clear Street was founded in 2018 by Uriel Cohen, Chris Pento and Sachin Kumar to rebuild core capital-markets infrastructure. It operates as a technology-enabled prime broker serving sophisticated investors, institutions and intermediaries.

Its platform combines trading and execution, clearing and custody, risk and margin management, financing, and securities lending around a single real-time ledger. Clients can access the platform through Clear Street applications, APIs or FIX connectivity, rather than stitching together multiple legacy systems.

The firm is especially strong in integrated equities and options infrastructure, real-time risk visibility and financing workflows. It has expanded into futures, fixed income and security-based swaps, while continuing to invest in cloud-native technology and global market access.
