Cherry Ventures

Cherry Ventures was founded in 2012 as an angel fund by Filip Dames and Christian Meermann, the former founders of Zalando. It has since developed into a pan-European venture capital firm with teams in Berlin, London and Stockholm.

The firm invests across Europe, typically from pre-seed to Series A, with seed as its core stage. Its focus spans B2B software, fintech, industrials, healthtech, climatetech and consumer technology, and it often invests before a startup has a finished product or meaningful revenue.

Cherry combines capital with hands-on portfolio support through its investment, strategic resources and operations teams. Its strongest differentiator is early-stage company building: it works closely with founders on hiring, networks, fundraising and operational execution, while reserving substantial capital for follow-on rounds.
