Highlights
About Castleton Commodities International LLC
CCI traces its roots to an energy merchant subsidiary formed by the Louis Dreyfus Group in 1997. After a 2012 acquisition by management and private investors, the business was renamed Castleton Commodities International LLC and expanded its integrated trading and asset-investing model.
The firm trades physical and financial energy commodities, including natural gas, power, oil and oil products, across North American, European and other global markets. It also invests in, develops and manages energy infrastructure, using market research, logistics, analytics and risk management to optimize assets and trading positions.
CCI is particularly strong in natural-gas storage and transportation optimization and regional power-market analysis. Its power platform owns and manages approximately 2,100 MW of generation capacity across Europe and North America, while its graduate opportunities span commodities trading, technology, risk, finance and operations.
