Cabot Properties

Cabot Properties was formed in 1986 as the investment-advisor affiliate of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes and became a private equity firm in 2002. It is headquartered in Boston and operates as an independent private partnership owned by senior team members.

The firm invests in, develops, and operates logistics real estate, including distribution and warehouse properties, across major urban markets in the United States, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Australia, and Japan. Its institutional-investor business includes discretionary commingled funds and separate-account programs using multiple investment strategies.

Cabot’s main strength is depth in industrial and logistics real estate: it reports more than $18 billion invested, over 1,750 buildings operated, more than 249 million square feet, and service to over 4,400 tenants. Its platform combines investment management with development, leasing, property management, and facility operations.
