Founded in 2002, Brevan Howard is a global alternative investment management platform serving institutional investors including sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, foundations and endowments. Its flagship global macro strategy launched in April 2003, and the firm launched BH Digital in 2022.

The firm invests across global markets through directional, relative-value and derivatives strategies, with investment products spanning multi-portfolio-manager, single-portfolio-manager and thematic opportunities. Its investment process is built around macro research, trade structuring and risk management, including stress testing and scenario analysis.

Brevan Howard is especially associated with macro analysis and a platform model that combines independent portfolio managers with institutional infrastructure. It has more than 1,000 team members, over 150 portfolio managers and nine global hubs.
