Augusta & Co was incorporated in London in 2002 by senior bankers from leading investment banks. In 2025, Mizuho agreed to acquire the advisory business, retaining the Augusta brand and leadership while adding access to Mizuho’s global platform. Augusta’s asset-management business was excluded from the transaction.

The firm advises renewable-energy developers, independent power producers, utilities, industrial companies and investment funds on M&A, debt advisory, equity markets, power purchase agreements and transaction-specific consultancy. Its coverage spans onshore and offshore wind, solar, hydropower, storage, power-to-X, grid-related infrastructure and other energy-transition technologies.

Augusta is particularly strong in renewable-energy M&A and structured capital raising, including portfolio sales, project and corporate debt, growth capital, partnerships and joint ventures. Its specialist positioning is reinforced by a large network of clean-energy investors and lenders and a track record across complex, cross-border transactions.
