Highlights
About Armira
Armira traces its origins to a Munich entity registered in 2008; its current holding-company structure includes Armira Holding GmbH, established in 2014. The group is headquartered in Munich and operates as an investment holding and regulated alternative investment manager.
Armira has two main strategies. Armira Mittelstand invests €20–200 million for majority stakes in established, profitable medium-sized businesses across the DACH region, Northern Italy and beyond. Armira Growth provides €10–100 million of growth capital to European technology companies with proven business models; the firm also makes selected minority investments in family-owned businesses in health, life sciences and technology.
Its distinguishing feature is an entrepreneur-focused, long-term ownership model rather than a narrow buy-and-sell mandate. Armira III, for example, has a fund term of at least 12 years. The platform is especially relevant for students interested in private equity investing in founder-led and family-owned companies, operational value creation and technology growth investing.
