Arch Insurance International

Arch Insurance International is the international insurance platform of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group, which was formed in 2001. Arch established its UK insurance carrier in 2004 and entered the Lloyd’s market in 2009; its international operations now span the London Company Market, Lloyd’s, the UK Regional Market, Australia, Bermuda and the EU.

The business underwrites specialty property and casualty risks for corporations, professional firms and financial institutions. Its London Market offering includes casualty, cyber, construction, credit and political risk, energy, financial institutions, marine, professional liability, property, transactional risk and other specialist lines.

Its strongest fit is complex, broker-led underwriting where tailored coverage and specialist judgment matter more than standardized products. For students, the platform offers exposure to underwriting, claims, actuarial work and insurance operations, including an eight-week summer internship and two-year rotational graduate and actuarial programmes.
