Alter Domus

Alter Domus began as a spin-off from a Big Four audit firm in 2001 and adopted the Alter Domus name in 2003. Founded in Luxembourg, it has since expanded into a global operating platform for alternative-investment managers and capital-market clients.

The firm provides fund administration, corporate and SPV services, AIFM and depositary services, middle-office support, debt capital-markets services, loan administration, regulatory reporting, and technology and data solutions. Its clients include private-equity, infrastructure, real-estate, private-debt, and other alternative-investment firms.

Alter Domus is especially strong in private-markets operations: it combines fund accounting, investor reporting, entity management, compliance, and asset-level servicing across jurisdictions. Its positioning is operational rather than investment-led, with technology used to automate workflows, consolidate reporting, and support complex fund structures.
