Alba Infra Partners launched on 3 June 2024 as an independent fund manager formed by the team that previously ran 3i’s infrastructure projects business. Its leadership team combines long-standing experience in European infrastructure investing, with offices in Paris and London.

The firm manages infrastructure funds investing across continental Europe, the UK and Ireland. Its strategy covers greenfield and brownfield projects and project developers, with particular emphasis on renewables, energy transition and environmental infrastructure, green mobility, digital assets and social infrastructure.

Alba’s distinguishing strength is its combination of pan-European project origination and hands-on asset management. The firm focuses on the lower and mid-market, using thematic sourcing, selective portfolio construction and active ownership to develop essential infrastructure platforms and improve operating and sustainability performance.
