About Alantra
Alantra traces its origins to the founding of the Spanish advisory and asset-management firm N+1 in 2001. It expanded through strategic acquisitions and now operates as an international financial-services group focused on mid-market companies, families and investors.
Its investment-banking business advises on buy-side and sell-side M&A, debt advisory, credit solutions, capital markets and strategic transactions. In asset management, it invests across private equity, private debt, active funds, energy transition and venture capital, alongside funds of funds, co-investments and secondaries.
Alantra is particularly relevant for students interested in mid-market advisory work and European private markets: in 2025 it completed more than 181 investment-banking transactions worth over €35 billion, while its asset-management platform raised approximately €465 million and completed more than 25 investments across seven countries.
