About AerFin

Founded in 2010 by Bob James, AerFin began by trading aircraft engines and later expanded into airframe components through its 2015 acquisition of Airline Service Components. It is headquartered in Newport, Wales, with operations in the UK, Ireland, the United States and Singapore.

AerFin buys, sells, leases and repairs aircraft, engines and components for airlines, lessors, financiers and MRO providers. Its services include aircraft and engine teardown, component harvesting, inventory sales, engine leasing and trading, repair management, and service-level support designed to keep fleets operating while maximising the residual value of aviation assets.

The firm is especially strong in aviation aftermarket asset management: it combines technical assessment, parts inventory, trading and MRO coordination across the asset lifecycle. Its current scale includes more than 270,000 aircraft components in stock, over 600 customers and more than 220 employees worldwide.
